MJ is currently seeking representation on their journey to write and illustrate more books and comics for kids!

MJ holds a certificate in Children’s Book Illustration from RISD and a BA in Studio Art and Creative Writing from Oberlin College. They’re a member of SCBWI and a recipient of the NESCBWI Windows and Mirrors Scholarship. They have worked as a colorist for children’s comics published by Henry Holt & Co. BYR, Farrar Strauss & Giroux, and Drawn and Quarterly.
